What are the most common problems logging in to BitBay?
Login problems may be caused by a malfunction of the web browser. In order to solve them, check the following possibilities:
Clearing the browser cache (cookies).
Clearing cache and cookies of your browser can solve most webpage problems, such as loading and formatting. Depending on the browser used, the way to clear cache may be slightly different.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Delete (for macOS Cmd + Shift + Backspace). The history will appear on the screen, and then a window, in which we can set the range to be cleared according to our preferences. If this does not work, see the cache clearing instructions for your browser.
Instructions for Google Chrome:
- Open your browser.
- At the top right, click More.
- Click More Tools. Clear browsing data.
- Select a time range. To delete everything, select From Start.
- Check the boxes for "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Confirm the action by clicking Clear data.
After re-enabling the browser, you can try to log in again.
Clearing the cache.
To clear the cache, go to our website https://bitbay.net/ and use the Ctrl + R (Windows) or Cmd + R (macOS) keyboard shortcut. Once the site is refreshed, you can try to log in again.
Using incognito mode.
To start incognito mode, use the Ctrl + Shift + N keyboard shortcut (macOS Cmd + Shift + N). For each browser, both in web and mobile version, we can open incognito mode, but the name and method of switching to this mode may differ depending on the browser and device.
The updates are designed to remove the detected security gaps and improve performance of the browser. For websites to work properly, you must update your browser to the latest version. This usually happens automatically when it closes and reopens. Sometimes it is required to manually enable the update - depending on the hardware and browser the process is different. In the help center of your browser, you will find the instructions.
